Mission:

The Twin Cities Black Film Festival exists to provide an opportunity for independent filmmakers of color in which to have their works showcased before the community, as well as, serve as an avenue of discovery for industry professionals seeking new talent worldwide.

Goal:

The goal of TCBFF is to reach the largest viewing audience possible while simultaneously capitalizing and exhibiting films that cater to the Twin Cities African American and Multicultural communities.

Twin Cities Black Film Festival organizers mission is to have participation from prominent individuals from the entertainment, and the sports industry. The highlights of the festival will be the Opening and Closing Night Premieres, The A-List Party, Panel Discussions, TCBFF Hollywood Fashion Show and the Awards Gala.

You will find that the Twin Cities Black Film Festival is a rapidly growing, premier film festival in the Twin Cities featuring films written, directed, produced and starring African-American talent here in the Twin Cities as well as across the country. Our goal is to show diverse talent across the spectrum in films. Our film selection process is rigorous as we receive hundreds of films from the across the globe. The film selection committee strives to bring the ‘best of cinema’ to be promoted and screened for thousands of people during the four-day festival taking place, October 10-14, 2024.
